The greatest challenge as an artist is always comes down to one question "I'm good/great enough for myself" the usually the answer is always NO!, sadly you're never good/great enough and you will always have the inner struggle, an evil/bad side that always hurts or is depress by not able to achieve this greatness within your own mind.
But by having this mentality and never being happy with what you do you're naturally pushed into creating better and better work in the search of perfection, and who knows maybe just maybe one day this perfection may be achieved "the great"..........but nothing in this world is PERFECT "the evil".

Great bold piece Hatziel! I mean this in the right way- thanks for showing the boobs, too many artists are afraid to show the boobs and it's all just a part of the woman. :) Love the dissection and colors. Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteUR absolutely right is a very natural thing and it wouldn't be the same if the full anatomy was showing but then pick and choose item just to please some closed minded people when I'm trying to just represent nature, but every once in a while I do also fall in that category but is good to choose ur battles right for what the art requires. Thank you!
DeleteTrue! I really think it is social media really, because you aren't supposed to post "nudity" on facebook, etc so it's hard to sell work you can't put on the net. Maybe? It's a theory. Art should have no bounds though.
