The Center of Creativity

A few weeks ago I was contact by Steve Floyd from AXZM, He was looking to update his offices with some new super fresh art from a small selected group of artist and my name was on his list, this commission was an artist dream no limitations and very open to allowed the artist to be true and just go raw on a canvas and that's exactly what I did, by adding some images that really hype me up as an artist, I added a little rocksteady a little Akira and a very recognizable character from some of the people that have been in the center of creativity. Thanks to Steve and his crew at AXZM.

We all got our own wall to do whatever we pleased, Albarez headed with the real people that he has master very well, I took it back to my roots and did a piece that I been wanting to do for about a good 7 or more years, and Jeru getting down with his signature character that shows himself in many of his pieces, and this is just about the walls the Art is another Level I promise but you will have to see for your self don't miss it!.

One night after a show the crew ended up at a local bar with people way too cool for everyone as we all chilled and having some sweet sweet drinks Joey Seeman approached me and after a long conversation about Graphic design and how much it sucks John Gonzales join the customer bashing part of the conversation, as the bashing was getting out of control the idea of working on a collaboration came up and in that moment the universe stopped and a blood pact was made that night the unholy and destructive outcome was an image that mankind was not ready for and here is the outcome of that unholy pact. Special Thanks to Joey and John.

Life in Music

Every time I paint the one thing always involve on all the painting is "MUSIC", Music always just makes the waiting for the paint to dry feel a lot smoother and thank god for DJs with their sweet sweet mixes, and the music and inspiration for this painting was provided by Miss CJ, Miss CJ is a Dallas DJ that approached me after she was looking for some new work to go in her new studio and I was more then happy to help with my art skills, Here is some of the process for this painting.( Oil/ Acrylic on Canvas 36x48 Stock Photo of Miss CJ)

I'm about to get super Art Nerd on you but man I love the violin in this Phillip Glass pieces, this video comes from the beginning of Naqoyqatsi 'Life at war' (one of three movies) now this movie is not for everyone and I don't recommend to watch the full movie high but you will not be able to watch it without some substance, but this clip is mostly all you need to see. Sometimes shit like this helps on artist-block.
